Kris Korat is a Slovenian pianist, composer, and producer known for blending classical depth with cinematic emotion. Holding a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano and Composition, he has developed a distinctive style in which the piano becomes a full orchestra - weaving together complex rhythms, rich harmonies, and powerful storytelling.

His work spans diverse genres: from intimate solo piano and evocative film scores to modern pop, world music collaborations, and dance productions. He has composed original works for art performances, galleries, films, and games, and serves as musical director and composer for Dance Formation, an international dance school.

Kris is also an official endorser of Keybird, the world’s first portable acoustic piano, working alongside its founder, Lander Pinson, to explore its cinematic and creative potential. Influenced by masters such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Michel Camilo, Tigran Hamasyan, and Hans Zimmer, his artistry bridges tradition and innovation with ease.
